What is a Neopixel Lightsaber?
While RGB Baselit lightsabers use a light source from within the hilt that extends into the blade, Neopixel lightsabers include flexible LED strips inside the blade itself. Neopixel lightsabers feature extremely bright blade illumination, and include extensive visual effects.
When you turn on a Neopixel lightsaber, you get a much fuller experience with a brighter light that has the same special radiance just like in the movies. The Neopixel blade’s LED strips give the lightsaber the capability to have special effects, colors, and tailored animations.
What can you do with a Neopixel Lightsaber?
Neopixel lightsabers include many different configurations, such as blade scrolling effects, animations, blaster bolt deflection, unstable blade effects, and many more. Neopixel technology allows you to completely customize your lightsaber to become whatever you imagine.
The advantage of Neopixel lightsabers is that the individual LEDs inside of the blade can be uniquely controlled to create different effects. This gives the user more versatility over standard RGB Baselit lightsabers. Neopixel lightsabers also include the electronics, batteries, and soundboards needed to elevate your experience.
Neopixel lightsabers also include polycarbonate blades that are capable of moderate dueling. However, we caution against heavy dueling that is better suited for RGB Baselit lightsabers.

Neopixel blades include effects such as standard extension and retraction effects, as well as many specially animated ignition effects.
