The ignition effect, sound font, color switching, smooth swinging, and bluetooth control of a lightsaber are all determined by the lightsaber's core, not the model. Different lightsaber models may have different core structures, but as long as the core version is the same, all the features of the lightsaber will be the same. At Saberlight, all our versions have a Neopixel core. (SNV4 Pro and Proffie V2.2 are both Neopixel cores)

2. Select a lightsaber category based on your needs.

The Master Tier collection corresponds to high-end replica character lightsabers, generally used for collecting, cosplay, display, and gifts. The screen accuracy is very high.

The Knight Tier collection is a creative design academy, suitable for display, gifts, modifications, and performances. They often have symbolic designs, structures, and a more mysterious and interesting appearance.

The Apprentice Tier collection is budget-friendly for Jedi, suitable for dueling, modifications, and performances. The designs are generally simple and sleek, with high comfort in the grip.

The core is the control center for all of the lightsaber's functions, determining the effects it can produce.

Polarity: Align+and-symbols correctly to prevent damage.

Charging: Use a 5V 1A adapter only. Charge for 3-4 hours max; do not charge overnight.

Warranty: Damage from dueling is not covered.

Blade Use: Insert the blade before powering on. Avoid twisting to prevent damage.

Core Installation: Do not twist the core when inserting to avoid pin damage.

Hilt Handling: Do not unscrew the hilt from the middle section.

Customization: Modifications that alter files or damage the board void the warranty and are non-refundable

What “Empty - No Electronics” Means?

Blade: Not included. You’ll need to source or make your own blade.

Electronics: No wiring, LEDs, or soundboards - empty chassis only.

Tip: Empty hilts are ideal if you already own electronics or want to build a custom saber from scratch. If you expected a complete plug-and-play saber, please choose one of our complete listings instead.

Please note that sabers with skinny neck designs are not recommended for hard dueling. Due to the thinner construction, the neck may be more susceptible to snapping under high-impact use, unlike other saber models with more reinforced necks. For best performance during intense dueling, consider alternative models with sturdier necks.

Sure, Saberlight Lightsabers are designed for full contact dueling and can withstand heavy dueling. Our blades are made of a strong polycarbonate material that is shatterproof and has a slight flexibility to prevent them from breaking.
