Lifetime Warranty Policy

At SABERLIGHT, we stand behind the quality of our lightsabers and are committed to supporting you for as long as you own your SABERLIGHT product.

Our Lifetime Warranty is designed to provide long-term support for manufacturing defects and eligible product issues, subject to the terms below.

This warranty is provided in addition to any consumer guarantees, statutory warranties or other mandatory rights that may apply to you under the laws of your country.

Lifetime Warranty Coverage

Our Lifetime Warranty applies to eligible SABERLIGHT lightsabers purchased directly from the official SABERLIGHT store.

Within 1 Year of Purchase

During the first year after your purchase, SABERLIGHT will provide:

  • Free repair for eligible manufacturing defects

  • Free replacement of defective components where repair is not appropriate

  • Free replacement of the product where required and appropriate

SABERLIGHT will determine the appropriate warranty solution based on the nature of the issue.

After 1 Year

After the first year, eligible manufacturing defects remain covered by the SABERLIGHT Lifetime Warranty.

Depending on the issue, we may provide:

  • Replacement parts

  • Repair assistance

  • Technical support

  • Other appropriate warranty assistance

After the first year, the customer is generally responsible for shipping costs associated with sending the product to SABERLIGHT or an authorised repair facility.

Where applicable law requires SABERLIGHT to cover return or repair costs, those legal requirements will apply.

What Is Covered

The Lifetime Warranty is intended to cover defects in materials or workmanship that occur under normal and intended use.

Examples may include eligible failures involving:

  • Lightsaber electronics

  • Lighting systems

  • Sound systems

  • Switches or controls

  • Other internal components affected by a manufacturing defect

Warranty coverage will depend on the nature of the issue and whether it results from a manufacturing defect or from use, damage or modification.

What Is Not Covered

The Lifetime Warranty does not generally cover damage or failures caused by:

  • Misuse or abuse

  • Accidents or impacts outside the product's intended use

  • Improper handling or storage

  • Water or liquid damage

  • Excessive heat or other environmental damage

  • Improper charging or use of incompatible charging equipment

  • Use of damaged or incompatible batteries

  • Unauthorised modifications

  • Unauthorised repairs or attempted repairs

  • Disassembly or alteration of internal components

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality

  • Damage caused by use contrary to supplied instructions or safety information

This list is not intended to exclude any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law.

Normal Wear and Tear

Some parts of a lightsaber may naturally experience wear through normal use.

Normal wear and tear is generally not considered a manufacturing defect.

Examples may include cosmetic marks, scratches, surface wear, gradual battery degradation and other deterioration resulting from normal use.

Where a component fails because of a manufacturing defect rather than normal wear and tear, it may be eligible for warranty support.

Unauthorised Modifications and Repairs

Modifying, dismantling or attempting to repair your lightsaber may affect warranty coverage where the modification or repair causes or contributes to the problem.

Examples may include:

  • Altering internal electronics

  • Installing incompatible components

  • Modifying wiring

  • Replacing components incorrectly

  • Attempting repairs without authorisation

  • Using third-party components that cause damage

If you believe your lightsaber has developed a fault, please contact SABERLIGHT before attempting a repair or modification.

Batteries

Rechargeable batteries naturally degrade over time and their capacity may decrease with normal use and charging cycles.

Normal battery degradation is not generally considered a manufacturing defect.

However, if a battery or charging system develops a defect covered by applicable consumer law or the SABERLIGHT warranty, please contact us for assistance.

For safety reasons, do not use or attempt to charge a battery that appears swollen, damaged, leaking or otherwise unsafe.

How to Make a Warranty Claim

All warranty requests should be submitted through the official SABERLIGHT store or by contacting:

support@saberlight.com.au

To help us assess your claim, please provide:

  • Your order number or proof of purchase

  • Your name and email address

  • A description of the issue

  • Photographs showing the product and problem

  • A short video demonstrating the issue where appropriate

Our support team may ask you to perform basic troubleshooting steps before determining the appropriate warranty solution.

Warranty Assessment

Once we receive your warranty request and supporting information, our technical team will assess the issue.

We may determine that the issue can be resolved through:

  • Troubleshooting

  • A replacement component

  • A repair

  • A replacement product

  • Another appropriate solution

If we need to inspect the physical product, we will provide instructions regarding where and how to send it.

Do not send your lightsaber to an address obtained from an old order or previous communication unless SABERLIGHT has specifically instructed you to do so.

Shipping Costs

Within the first year of purchase, SABERLIGHT will generally cover reasonable shipping costs associated with an eligible warranty repair or replacement where the issue is confirmed to be covered by this warranty.

After the first year, customers are generally responsible for shipping costs associated with warranty service.

However, where applicable consumer law requires SABERLIGHT to cover shipping, repair, replacement or other costs, those legal requirements will apply.

We will not require you to bear costs that we are legally required to cover.

Warranty Period

The SABERLIGHT Lifetime Warranty remains available for the lifetime of the original purchaser's ownership of the eligible product.

The warranty applies to the original purchaser and is not automatically transferable to another person unless SABERLIGHT agrees otherwise or applicable law provides otherwise.

Proof of purchase may be required to establish warranty eligibility.

Warranty and Consumer Rights

This Lifetime Warranty is provided in addition to your statutory consumer rights.

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or limits any consumer guarantee, statutory warranty, cancellation right or other protection that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

For customers in Australia, consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law apply independently of this warranty.

For customers in the United Kingdom, applicable consumer rights and statutory protections apply independently of this warranty.

For customers in Germany, France and other European Union countries, mandatory consumer protection laws and statutory guarantees apply independently of this warranty.

For customers in Japan, applicable consumer protection laws apply independently of this warranty.

For customers in the United States, applicable federal and state consumer protection laws may provide additional rights depending on your location and circumstances.

If applicable law provides greater protection than this warranty, the applicable law will prevail.

Warranty Limitations

To the extent permitted by applicable law, SABERLIGHT's obligations under this Lifetime Warranty are limited to the repair, replacement or other warranty remedy described in this policy.

Nothing in this policy limits liability or obligations that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

Our Commitment

A lightsaber is more than a product — it's part of your journey.

At SABERLIGHT, we stand behind the products we create and are committed to supporting our customers for as long as they own their SABERLIGHT lightsaber.

If something goes wrong, our goal is to make the warranty process as simple and straightforward as possible.
